Product description:
This recall involves 13 models of Peg Perego strollers and travel system. All affected models are folding strollers with Peg Perego imprinted on the adjustable handlebar and bumper bar of the stroller. The affected strollers are identified by either the item number or manufacture number found on a sticker label located on the underside of the chassis.

The tables below provide the model name, item number, colour and manufacture number of the affected strollers.

Hazard identified
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these strollers do not meet the Carriages and Strollers Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the strollers do not meet the latching system requirements for folding strollers as they do not have a safety device independent from the latching device to prevent folding.

As of December 12, 2017 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Product description

This recall involves the Book Pop Up stroller in Onyx with the manufacture number IPMS02NA62R001DX13. The affected strollers are identified by the item number GCB001NA79 and the manufactured date of April 10, 2017. Peg Perego is imprinted on the adjustable handlebar and bumper bar of the stroller. The item number and date of manufacture can be found on a sticker label located on the underside of the stroller chassis.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these strollers do not meet the Carraiges and Strollers Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the strollers contain barium in excess of allowable limits

As of November 17, 2017 the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in canada.

Approximately 72 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

The recalled strollers were sold from May 2017 to September 2017.
